Though it may not be obvious in our ‘suburban’ communities, rent prices have still increased year over year – about 6% on average nationally. But now that inflation has peaked, we are potentially looking ahead at dramatically cheaper mortgage rates, according to the experts – we could see the 30-year under 5% soon.
This means some who have sat on the sidelines could now SEIZE THE DAY – some can capitalize on increased equity in their homes and sell, and some can stop being renters and qualify and compete for the purchase they are after.
