Wow!! Last week’s real estate/wine event was a huge success: The Previews Fall Home Collection/Connoisseur Wine Tasting, jointly sponsored by JoniHomes and KMS Partners of Coldwell Banker Riverside, Westport, Connecticut CT, offered an unprecedented home showcase event — a multi-faceted and wonderful day for agents and some of our clients and friends in attendance too. Participants enjoyed a progressive wine tasting, raffle and prizes at each venue, and even raised some funds raised for local charity.
And what a turnout! Agents and managers from over 30 Coldwell Banker offices throughout Connecticut and Westchester were in attendance, along with local agents too. Some came by the carful. Our esteemed President, Cathleen Smith, along with Senior Vice President Laura Rittenberg were also in attendance. We even raised over $500 for The Coldwell Banker Cares Foundation.
All participants, whether traveling from far or near, were treated to tours of the three extraordinary properties: “Elegant Waterfront Lifestyle,” 3 Charmers Landing, Westport, CT, “Chic Country Estate,” 99 Bayberrry Lane, Westport, CT, and “Riverfront Romance,” 157 Easton Road, Westport, CT — while sampling four fabulous California wines: a Sauvignon Blanc, a Sangiovese, a Merlot/Cab blend, and a lovely Prosecco. All were expertly poured and elaborated upon by the folks from Gathering Harvests, LLC of Westport.
40 lucky Previews agent sponsors got to feature one of their fabulous properties in our glossy Fall Home Collection Program and display their property brochures to all attendees at our showcase. We all got to commune with other Previews (luxury homes division) agents, and even purchase the select wines by the bottle, or case, with discount (with a percentage of the proceeds going to the charity as well, thanks to our wine supplier, Twisted Vine of Fairfield, Connecticut CT).
We had six happy winners for our great prizes valued at $2,200 and donated by generous friends: A house photography shoot by Granite Studios, a gorgeous “casual chic” stone necklace by noted Westport designer, Jill Saltzman, a half day of staging services by Staging Options’ Lauretta Carle, a $500 gift certificate from Budget Blinds, a pampering package including personal training by John Didio, a massage by Michelle Quigley and beauty services by Vincent Palumbo, as well as a boxed set of Brunello wines from Italy. We also held a 50/50 cash raffle, won by two lucky agents in our branch office who shared the winning ticket. A great time was had by all.
Many agents expressed their intent to host a future Home Collection event in their local area — to bolster the Coldwell Banker premier agent support network, to garner greater exposure for luxury properties and better serve clients in this challenging market, and most of all, to count among today’s real estate innovators. Vive la difference!
