Dear Friends,
The last quarter of the year typically brings more of a buyers’ market, no matter what current conditions are like. This year, though our fall market started out a little quieter, now that we have survived this midterm election, the real estate market has some renewed vigor. (Or is it the impending rise in interest rates that has more buyers getting off the fence of late ?) October numbers in this month’s report show we are behind in most markets in volume and pricing, both year over year and year to date. However, we are seeing improvement this very minute, which should reflect in November and December numbers, and we may end the year stable once again.
On another note, some exciting new changes going on. Hooray, we launched our totally redesigned, fully-responsive JoniHomes website, which now offers a way cooler, more mobile friendly experience, streamlined design and data access, and higher quality images of some wonderful properties. In addition, I am so pleased to welcome Thora Karukas to JoniHomes.
